Dear Chris and Sonja,

Here's an update on Ranger. Sorry for not having written sooner, as there have been a few health emergencies in the family. Ranger is settling in with the family. We did get a trainer to come in and give us a hand, which helped tremendously. His unwanted behaviors were just his way of trying to find out where he belonged in the family. He has since learned that momma is the boss, although he'll listen for the most part to all of us. There's always work to be done to improve, but in all he's a good boy. He loves most people and is becoming a good protector of family and home, including his little yorkie buddy that my sister owns. She lives in the same house as we do, and they look forward to spending time on the porch together, under watchful eye of course.

We had to change his name from Ranger to Sarge, as he just wouldn't aknowledge us when we called him Ranger, but as soon as we called him Sarge he turned around and was happy. He is a great asset to our family, even though he tries to redecorate the house. His instincts about people who are ill is outstanding. He knew when my husband had his surgery and stayed away from him, as we had brought him home the day after so he was still recovering. As he got better, Sarge got closer and gently jumped on the bed to give him a kiss. He's quite loveable. He's about 80-85 pounds now, but insists on keeping his figure by not overeating.

Loved the pics we saw of your new pups from the Ty and Elsie breeding, looks like Sarge has quite a few good brothers and sisters, and if it wasn't for me working, yet, I'd get a little brother for Sarge. Hopefully someday.

I was very upset to hear about the poisoning of Chaos, one never knows where the enemy lies. Our neighbor's pug was poisoned by a disgruntled neighbor who put ground up mothballs in the dirt near the tree where he would use the bathroom. The pug ate some of the mothballs and was very ill for a very long time before finally passing away on Christmas Day. I hope that they are able to punish the person responsible for that heinous act.

Enclosed are a couple pictures taken a few months ago of Sarge on his 1st Birthday. He has filled out a little bit more since then. As you can see he's a handsome devil, and everyone falls in love with him when they see him. Well everyone that isn't scared of him that is, haha.

Best to all, and thank you for all the work you do, and for providing us with a bundle of joy, happiness, and excitement. We look forward to the chance of doing business with you in the future.

Have a great summer,
Dottie Grekstas and Family
